"This is THE classic Adriano in Botafogo. Locals stand in line waiting for a table. Price is right, portions are generous. Arrive before noon or after 2pm else you will be waiting. Ask for the unofficial house-made malagueta sauce. You can take a bottle with you."

"I came from a nearby coworking space. The food was incredible, and the service was great. The value for money is one of the best I've experienced, especially if you aren't looking for something fancy. I'm planning to come back; it's a great place to eat every day."

"Adriano is one of the most traditional restaurants in Rio. It is in business since 1954. The first time I went to Adriano for lunch, it was because a friend told me that Adriano is a "honest" restaurant, as the cariocas say. That means that prices are good and you are paying for a lot of food, they serve u well. If you are close to botafogo, this is a place you must go."

"Amazing authentic food at great prices. We ate here twice during our recent trip to Rio. It was so worth coming back the 2nd time for the Friday special of Feijoada. It was absolutely delicious and a must try for visitors to Brazil."

"GREAT food, they do have an English menu. Although very little English spoken. The food is traditional, and not bad at all! You can’t go wrong with the Steak. Vegetables are nice. Rice pudding is a great desert. And all that is extremely cheap for the amount of food. Would recommend"
